Our online TABC training course focuses on responsible alcohol sales in Texas and is intended for waiters, bartenders, cashiers, caterers, and anyone else that sells or serves alcohol. Upon completion of the course and test, you are immediately TABC certified and you can print or save your TABC certificate.
Most employers will require you to be TABC certified before you begin working. The TABC (Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission) strongly feels that trained sellers, servers, and managers are better able to identify and prevent sales of alcoholic beverages to minors, intoxicated persons, and non-members of a private club. Therefore, the TABC recommends that businesses make TABC seller server training mandatory for their employees who sell or serve alcohol through the 'Safe Harbor Act'.
Our TABC training course has 2 hours of course material, but is self-paced and you can take the course as quickly or slowly as you like. The course is interactive with full audio narration and uses engaging, real-world scenarios for the best user experience and information retention. Our training course works on all computer devices including: smart phones, tablets, laptops, and PCs. If needed, you can conveniently switch back and forth between your phone (or tablet) and your computer, while taking the course, and you will always be returned to your most recent progress. Once you create an account you can log in from any computer or mobile device and train anytime, anywhere.
You have 6 months from enrollment to complete this course. You can log in and out of your training account and your place in the course will be saved.
After successfully completing this responsible beverage course and the 25 multiple choice question final exam, you will be able to print your certificate of completion from your own printer.

The certificate of completion for your TABC Training will be available to print from your computer immediately after passing the final exam. If you need to obtain another copy of your certificate of completion, you can log back into your training account and print additional copies as needed.
The TABC requires you to take an approved seller server training course every two years to remain TABC certified. There is not a separate re-certification course if you have already been TABC certified, nor is there a way to 'test out' of the TABC course.
Training Now provides the approved TABCpermit.com training course TABC approved seller training school (#535-608). This TABC training course has been reviewed and approved by Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC).
Once you are TABC certified, we are required to submit your training record to the TABC database within 14 days. You can view your training record by following the Certificate Inquiry instructions on the TABC website. You can also print your record and use it as proof of being TABC certified.
